Morning Coffee Garment Transformation Shirt was reconstructed through textile intervention, layered ruffles and garment transformation.

One-of-a-kind garment by Fly Art Atelier.

Part of the Fly Art Atelier Archive.

This shirt was reconstructed with an integrated hand-constructed ruffled bib panel sewn into the front of the garment. The pleated textile elements form a sculptural surface across the chest, introducing a historical garment element while transforming the original shirt into a textile object.

Different fabrics, ruffles, stitched areas and textile elements create a layered surface that changes the character of the garment and gives it a more theatrical and festive presence.

Paint splashes were added across the surface, bringing bright color accents and spontaneous marks that contrast with the structured textile construction. The paint marks introduce movement and energy, turning the garment into a celebratory textile composition.

Rather than redesigning the shirt, the work developed through additions, textile construction, stitching and surface marks. The garment became a composition where fabric, texture, color and structure form a new visual language.

Each element was assembled and finished by hand, transforming the shirt into a wearable textile object where garment, painting and textile construction meet.

No stencils.

No duplication.

The composition evolves directly on the garment, guided by texture, wear, and structure.

This is not customization.

This is transformation.

One-of-a-kind piece.
