Late Summer Hand Embroidered Shirt is a one-of-a-kind textile object created by Fly Art Atelier. Part of the Fly Art Atelier Archive Collection.
The "Late Summer" became a surface for patchwork and textile composition.
One-of-a-kind garment by Fly Art Atelier.
Part of the Fly Art Atelier Archive.
This garment has been transformed through handwork, embroidery, patchwork and textile collage, allowing the materials and stitched elements to form a new composition directly on the garment.
Different fabric areas, stitched repairs, patches, embroidery and marks appear across the surface like fragments of memory. The garment becomes a textile composition where material, texture, and wear form the visual language.
Rather than redesigning the garment, the work develops through small changes, repairs, additions and marks. The composition grows slowly, guided by the structure of the original garment and the character of the materials.
Each element was assembled and finished by hand, turning the garment into a wearable object where textile, narrative, and craftsmanship meet.
No stencils.
No duplication.
The composition evolves directly on the garment, guided by texture, wear, and structure.
This is not customization.
This is transformation.
One-of-a-kind piece.
Created at Fly Art Atelier.
