Langsyne begins as an Australian-made Jackeroo denim garment and transforms into a fully reimagined wearable artwork.
 
The sun-washed rust tone of the denim becomes a living surface layered with hand-painted symbols, textile fragments, and embroidery. An anchor rises across the front panel — not as decoration, but as memory. Floral cotton inserts soften the structure. Paint splatters trace movement. Every mark responds to the fabric’s natural wear, allowing history and intervention to coexist.
 
The hand-painted leather belt extends the narrative across materials, connecting textile and leather into a unified composition. Front and back panels reveal patchwork elements, stitched fragments, and painterly gestures that feel discovered rather than designed.
