Built on a pair of Craddock Terry leather oxfords, this object retains the disciplined structure of a classic American silhouette — restrained, precise, almost conservative at first glance. Yet its surface disrupts that order.
 
Color does not function as decoration here.
It appears as intervention.
 
Splashes, lines, fragments — like signals cutting through darkness.
Immediate, unstable, almost electrical in their presence.
 
The black surface operates as depth rather than color.
Each mark exists as a fixed event, not a repeatable gesture.
